The idea for Nord took shape during a trip we took together. Walking past customs, we stepped into an airport perfumery store and we found ourselves surrounded by walls of big, fragile glass bottles that were clearly never meant to leave your bathroom shelf. It struck us then: these designs were everything but practical for a life in motion.
That encounter led us to take a closer look at the perfume industry as a whole. What we found was an industry overdue for change. One where traditional formats had gone unquestioned for decades, and where the absence of refillable options resulted in unnecessary waste and repeated costs for the consumer. It became clear that there was a better way, a more sustainable, intelligent way to deliver a premium fragrance experience.
